Crailo Pet is a platform that connects pet owners with their veterinary clinic. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Who controls your data
Crailo Pet is a multi-tenant service. When you join a clinic, that clinic can see the information associated with your account and pets in order to provide care. Your veterinary clinic is an independent controller of that information; this policy covers Crailo Pet’s handling of it.
Information we collect
- Account information you provide: name, email, phone number, and address.
- Pet information you or your clinic add: pet name, species, breed, date of birth, sex, spay/neuter status, and photos.
- Pet care information: vaccinations, medications, preventatives, weight logs, visit history, activity/behavior diary entries, and documents (e.g. invoices, records) uploaded by you or your clinic.
- Messages and offers your clinic sends you.
- Device information for notifications: a push notification token for your device, so we can deliver alerts you’ve enabled.
- Basic technical data needed to operate the app (e.g. authentication session data).
How we use information
- To provide the service: show your pets’ information, connect you with your clinic, and deliver messages, offers, and documents.
- To send notifications (push and/or email) for new messages, offers, and documents, where enabled.
- To secure the service and prevent abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
How information is shared
- With your clinic, as described above.
- With service providers who operate the platform on our behalf — for application hosting and storage, authentication, push notification delivery, and email delivery. These providers process your information only to provide their services to us.
- For legal reasons, if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from Account & Security → Delete my account in the app. Some records may be retained where required by law or by your clinic’s own recordkeeping obligations.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access is restricted so that each clinic’s data is isolated and only authorized users can read it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children’s privacy
Crailo Pet is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children.
Your choices and rights
- Update your profile and pet information in the app.
- Turn notifications on or off in your device settings.
- Delete your account in the app.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us at privacy@crailopet.com.

We may update this policy; the effective date above reflects the latest version.
